Because the compressed air used in the preparation is in direct contact with the medicine, the compressed air must be purified; it must be verified to prove that the system meets the production requirements; it must also pass the GMP certification inspection. The air for preparations such as drying and pressing must control the content of oil, water, solid particles and biological particles in the compressed air, and at the same time, it must be odorless. The gas used for instruments is mainly used for pneumatic instruments and precision (pressure, flow) regulators. Except that it does not control biological particles and does not require odorlessness, other control items and preparations use the same gas. The quality standard of instrument air can be found in GB/T13277 "Compressed Air Quality Grade for General Use".

This standard classifies the quality levels according to the four control indicators of solid particle size and content, water vapor content and oil content, as shown in Table 1. Pneumatic instruments have requirements for gas quality levels. The recommended 4 indicators are all level 3. The specific indicators are: maximum particle size 5μm, particle content 5mg/m3, water content (pressure dew point) maximum -20°C, and maximum oil content 1mg /m3. Nowadays, pneumatic actuators generally require dust particle size of air source to be ≤1μm.

Let's take a look at the major advantages of Shanghai oil-free air compressors

1. At present, the dewatering equipment such as refrigerated dryers, non-heat regeneration dryers, and micro-heat regeneration dryers lose their dewatering function due to the oil in the compressed air; and the clean oil-free gas compressed by an oil-free compressor , It fully protects the water removal equipment and reduces the additional capital occupation caused by the maintenance of the water removal equipment.

2.Using an oil-filled air compressor greatly wastes lubricating oil. Taking a 7.5KW high-quality oil-filled air compressor as an example, it consumes 5 kilograms of lubricating oil per month and will pay an extra 60 kilograms of lubricating oil use cost in one year. At the same time, in order to remove the oil in the compressed gas, it is necessary to use an efficient oil filter, and the filter element needs to be replaced multiple times, which is also a large cost.

3. Because of the high viscosity of lubricating oil, the current oil removal equipment cannot completely remove it, so the oil-free characteristic of the gas compressed by the oil-free air compressor is irreplaceable.

The oil and non-oil in the air compressor generally refer to the oil content of the exhaust gas of the air compressor. Generally, the oil content of the oily machine is larger, and the oil content of the oil-free machine is 0.01ppm, so use this The oil content is used to distinguish the air compressor with oil and without oil. There is also a completely oil-free air compressor, which is not lubricated with oil, but with resin lubrication, so the final gas discharged without oil is called all-free Oil air compressor, but the quality of this type of air compressor is not very satisfactory at present, and oil-free oil-lubricated compressors are generally used in China.
