Working principle of oil-free air compressor

Oil-free air compressor is a miniature reciprocating piston compressor. When the crankshaft of the compressor is driven by the single shaft of the motor to rotate, through the transmission of the connecting rod, the piston with self-lubrication without adding any lubricant will reciprocate. The working volume formed by the cylinder head and the top surface of the piston will change periodically.

When the piston of a piston compressor starts to move from the cylinder head, the working volume in the cylinder gradually increases. At this time, the gas follows the intake pipe and pushes the intake valve to enter the cylinder until the working volume becomes large. , The intake valve is closed; when the piston of the piston compressor moves in the  direction, the working volume in the cylinder decreases and the gas pressure rises. When the pressure in the cylinder reaches and is slightly higher than the exhaust pressure, the exhaust valve opens and the gas is discharged out of the cylinder , Until the piston moves to the limit position, the exhaust valve is closed.

When the piston of the piston compressor moves in the  direction again, the above process repeats. That is: the crankshaft of the piston compressor rotates once, the piston reciprocates once, and the process of air intake, compression, and exhaust is realized in the cylinder, which completes a working cycle. The single-shaft and double-cylinder structure design makes the compressor gas flow rate twice that of the single-cylinder when the rated speed is fixed, and the vibration and noise control is well controlled.

The working principle of the whole machine: the motor runs, the air enters the compressor through the air filter, the compressor compresses the air, and the compressed gas enters the air storage tank through the air flow pipe and opens the one-way valve. The pointer of the pressure gauge rises to 8 Bar. When the pressure is greater than 8 Bar, the pressure switch automatically closes after sensing the pressure, the motor stops working, and the solenoid valve exhausts the air pressure in the compressor head to 0. At this time, the air switch pressure announces, the gas pressure in the gas storage tank is still 8 Bar, and the gas is exhausted through the ball valve to drive the connected equipment to work. When the air pressure in the air storage tank drops to 5 Bar, the pressure switch is automatically turned on by induction, and the compressor restarts to work.
